Johannesburg – In one of his Between the Scenes clips on The Daily Show, Trevor Noah paid tribute to late legend Aretha Franklin.
The music icon died on Thursday at the age of 76.
Speaking about the influence she had on the music industry, Trevor said: "Everything we see today, in so many ways in the music [industry], male and female, was because of her."
The star also recalled listening to Aretha’s music with his mother when he was younger.
