Twitter remembers Vuyo Mbuli

Johannesburg – It’s been three years since the untimely passing of news anchor, Vuyo Mbuli. For many, waking up to the charasmatic host was a part of their daily routine. On Wednesday South Africans took to Twitter to remember the man whose voice served as their alarm clock for 14 years.

Mbuli co-hosted popular morning news show, Morning Live, on SABC 2 since its inception in 1999.  Leanne Manas, who sat side-by-side with Vuyo for nine years, paid her respects to her colleague and beloved friend on Twitter with a pic that she captioned, “You are missed everyday!”

Tweets continued to pour in for the late anchor throughout Wednesday morning.
