WATCH: Actor, singer and soccer star - Dumi Masilela did it all

Johannesburg – South Africa mourned the loss of yet another talented star when the news of the untimely death of Dumi Masilela broke on Thursday.

The actor was killed on Wednesday night following an attempted hijicking in Tembisa. 

Dumi was widely known for the role he played on local soapie Rhythm City. The star captivated fans when he took on the part of Sfiso in the e.tv drama in 2013.

A man of many talents, Dumi also had a great love of music, taking part in season eight of reality show Idols SA, and making all the way to the top 18.

But before he entered the world of entertainment, Dumi showed promise as a young soccer star, playing for PSL teams Supersport United and Highlands Park.
