WATCH: From the V&A Waterfront to Boulders Beach - Demi-Leigh and Tim Tebow are sightseeing in Cape Town

Cape Town -  Former Miss Universe Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters and her American fiancé Tim Tebow are spending time in Cape Town, ahead of their wedding - reported to be taking place on Saturday.

Channel24 has independently learnt that the two-day wedding celebration will be taking place in Cape Town on Saturday and Sunday.

Demi-Leigh arrived in Johannesburg on 7 January, where she spent a week at The Palace of The Lost City with her girlfriends.

She reunited with her fiance in Cape Town on Thursday, as the former football player was still wrapping up work in the US the week before.

"My favourite person and my favourite city," Demi-Leigh captioned a photo of the pair taking a walk along the Sea Point Promenade.

Demi-Leigh and Tim have been sharing photos and videos from their time in Cape Town on Instagram, and the couple, along with their families, have been visiting all the tourist hot spots in The Mother City.

The couple took a day-trip to the V&A Waterfront, where Demi-Leigh indulged in some soft-serve, before ending off the day with dinner at Life Grand Cafe.

On Friday they took a drive along Chapman's Peak. "We were supposed to go to the beach, but we're blowing away in Cape Town," Demi-Leigh says in one of Tim's Instagram Stories.

In another Instagram Stories post, Tim also tags his brother, Robby and also shares a group family photo.

The group also visited Boulders Beach, where Tim got up close with the African Penguins
