Johannesburg – Show your city some love, and you could win R15 000 courtesy of Jonathan Boynton-Lee and Stevel Marc.
Top Billing presenter Jonathan, has teamed up with his model friend, Stevel Marc, to show Jo’burg some love, and now it’s your turn to do the same.
In a video posted to Twitter on Monday, the pair announced the competition, asking fans to record a short video showing why they love their city using the hashtag #IAMGAUTENG. And just in case you need some motivation, the person with the winning video will receive 15k.
The idea for the competition came after Jonathan says they were “sick of hearing people speaking badly about Jozi.”
If you want to get your hands on that 15k but you’re not so sure about your cinematography skills, that’s okay. “Shoot a video on your own, you know what I mean? It does not have to be anything professional,” Stevel says in the clip.
According to the friends, the winning video will be chosen at the end of July.
