WATCH: Jub Jub's new music video filmed in prison

Johannesburg – After releasing his track Ke Kopa Tshwarelo (Please forgive me) in January, Jub Jub (real name Molemo Maarohanye) has released a video to accompany the song. 

The rapper relives his time in prison, giving us a glimpse of what he endured while behind bars. The video features jazz artist Tshepo Tsholo and includes a scene where the muso visits Jub Jub in prison, giving him a pep-talk to lift his spirits. 

According to News24 Jub Jub and his co-accused, Themba Tshabalala, were originally found guilty of murder, attempted murder, driving under the influence and racing on a public road on 16 October 2012.

The rapper was released on bail on 5 January 2017 after serving four years behind bars.
