WATCH: Sasha-Lee moves into the Miss South Africa Sandton apartment valued at R5m

Cape Town - Miss South Africa 2019 Sasha-Lee Olivier has moved into Central Square in Sandton, where she will be staying for the duration of her reign.

The apartment is valued at more than R5 million and has a rental value of R42 000 per month.

Zozibini Tunzi was crowned Miss South Africa 2019 in August, but after receiving the title of Miss Universe 2019 in December the 26-year-old relocated to New York. No longer able to fulfill her Miss SA duties, Sasha-Lee, who was crowned runner-up, has taken over the Miss South Africa 2019 crown.

Speaking about her new space in a video on Instagram, Sasha-Lee says that she is looking forward to hosting Sunday lunch for her family in her new apartment.

She also spoke about the gorgeous city views, saying she is a "sucker for a good view."

About the decor, Mia Bella Interiors, who decorated the apartment, wrote on the photo-sharing app: "[In 2019] the most popular colour combination was most definitely shades of grey, mustard and yellow."
