WATCH: This is what your favourite local hits would sound like in the 80s

Johannesburg – Ever wondered what Babes Wodumo’s Wololo would sound like if it were released in the 80s?

What about Nasty C’s Hell Naw

Well local artists Snapbvck, made up of durban-based duo Ryan James and Rhys Fataar, have taken the liberty of putting together some of our favourite SA tracks, with an 80s twist. The video is even shot to look like the 80s, dance moves and all.

Speaking to The Juice, Ryan explained: "The 80s is a really comical era to look back on. The music and style were great and distinct and so far from what we have now. We wondered how present day songs would have been approached if it were in an 80s sense. So we made a very 80s sounding track and we gave it a shot."
