West Ink's Wololo Festival postponed

Johannesburg – Fans who were looking forward to seeing some of their favourite local acts at the Wololo Festival in Mpumalanga will have to wait a little bit longer.

The 22 hour festival would have seen the likes of Kwesta, big Nuz and Durbans Finest take to the stage on 5 August at Puma Stadium.

In a press statement released on Thursday, the postponement of the major gig was announced. “The Wololo Festival has been temporarily postponed, from 5th August at the Puma Stadium in Witbank due to unforseen logistical reasons. The organisors at West Ink  apologise to all their incredible fans and would like to reassure them that this is simply a postponement and NOT a cancellation,” the statement reads.

28 October has been chosen as the new date for the festival by organisers. Ticket holders will also be reimbursed 100% of the ticket cost.
