Zahara: Yes, I'm engaged

Johannesburg – According to reports, Zahara and boyfriend of five years, Amaza Ntshanga, are engaged… for real this time.

In late 2015 rumours circled that Zahara was engaged to Amaza and pregnant with his child. The singer was quick to shut down the hearsay in an interview on Cliff Central, saying, "I found out from the papers that I'm engaged and pregnant. So I was like, congratulations to myself."

But this time, Zahara says it’s the real deal. In an interview with Move! Magazine, the singer came clean about her engagement to Amaza, saying, "Yes, I’m engaged to Amaza and the lobola negotiations are done. I’m so excited about this. I will only reveal the date of the wedding when the time is right."

Speaking about the moment Amaza proposed, Zahara said, "I was shocked when he popped the question even though I knew that one day this would happen. I was in my pyjamas preparing to sleep when he went down on one knee and asked me to marry him." 

The Juice reached out to Zahara’s publicist who was unable to comment at the time.
