Johannesburg - Zodwa will be hitting up Zimbabwe this weekend as her ban from the country was lifted by the Zimbabwean Censorship Board.
The socialite and entertainer Zodwa Wabantu was invited to perform at two clubs in Zimbabwe but faced some opposition from Anne Nhira, a Zimbabwean actress. The actress wrote to the Zimbabwean government expressing her opinion on Zodwa's image, which brought about a ban for the entertainer.
Divine Assignments , the company that booked Zodwa for performances fought for her ban to be lifted and they have succeeded despite the opposition.
Zodwa has been cleared to perform at a Private Lounge and no longer the Harare International Carnival, which she was going to initially.
