Johannesburg – Zuraida Jardine is all about embracing the skin you’re in.
The TV personality showed off her body in two nude snaps on Instagram captioning one with a powerful message on being comfortable in your own skin.
“Let’s stop imparting unsolicited advice or judgement about someone else’s skin. Let’s rather admire when we become witness to how comfortable some are in their own skin. Way too many of us are so uncomfortable in our own skin that we project our insecurities on the ones that are elated in theirs,” Zuraida wrote.
She also added: “I love the skin I’m in. I love the journey of my body too from it’s birth to up-cline into wrinkles, loss of elasticity, stretch marks & cellulite.”

Skin: The largest organ of our bodies. We come into this world bearing our skin and depart with it too. Along life's journey we may lose an organ or limb, but our skin remains. It constitutes the biggest make up of our physical bodies and with it carries so much unfortunate drama. Dramatization brought upon by others. What others deem correct or not with the colour, tone, disposition or the exposure of it. We make other people's skin our business. Why! What for! Someone else's skin is actually none of our concern. How much or little they expose of it, the colour or condition of it. It has nothing to do with us. Let's stop imparting unsolicited advice or judgements about someone else's skin. Let's rather admire when we become witness to how comfortable some are in their own skin. Way too many of us are so uncomfortable in our own skin that we project our insecurities on the ones that are elated in theirs. I love the skin I'm in. I love the journey of my body too from it's birth to up-cline into wrinkles, loss of elasticity, stretch marks & cellulite. I am grateful for my privilege of time. I am navigating my way, my way - and not the one you desire for me. My journey with my skin is not your business, unless of course you are in the skin institute and I'm choosing to have a skin procedure done with you. Nor is your skin, it's colour or the exposure of it, my concern. So, let's attempt to simply stop judging people based on all things SKIN. If someone else's skin makes yours crawl, try using a different lotion, but don't be mean just because you're catching feelings about an organ that does not belong to you. Inspire more, and perspire less at the skin that's not yours to have an opinion about.
