Despite reports that emerged yesterday, police have confirmed that no arrests have been made in connection with the Senzo Meyiwa shooting.
It's also emerged that investigations have been extended to the rest of the country. The Bafana Bafana captain and Orlando Pirates goalkeeper was shot and killed on Sunday evening outside his girlfriend Kelly Khumalo's Vosloorus home.
Police spokesperson Neville Malila told Eyewitness News that bits and pieces of information have emerged but no one has been arrested.
"I spoke to the investigation team and no arrests were made. The investigation has been extended to outside the boundaries of Gauteng. We’ve received various bits and pieces of information," he explained.
