Nomzamo Mbatha hails her hero, Winnie Madikizela-Mandela

Johannesburg - While most of us were sitting on our couches in front of the telly on Youth Day, Nomzamo Mbatha got to meet her hero, Winnie Madikizela-Mandela.

She posted a touching tribute where she not only spoke about what an honour it was to meet Winnie, but also that she was determined to play Winnie in a biopic about her life.

"She held me. Her namesake. The girl who will one day play her in a biopic of her life."

My late grandmother named me after the mother of our nation. Nomzamo- 'She who strives' Had the HONOUR of meeting her at the Presidential Youth Day Celebration. She held me. Her namesake.
