Now you can get Madiba, and other celebs, in Lego!

In the best news since Paris Hilton decided to quit acting, Lego have made our life by releasing proudly South African Lego figurines for Mandela day.

The figurines are of some of South Africa's biggest celebrities, including Bonang, Gareth Cliff and DJ Fresh and were released on Friday afternoon to coincide with the local release of The Lego Movie.

Lego also celebrated Mandela Day on Friday by auctioning off a one-of-a-kind Lego collection of Mandela figurines at three stages of his life. The auction, hosted by local site Bidorbuy, will see the person who bids the highest rand value from now until the 27th of July win the collection and a The LEGO Movie Blu-Ray and DVD combo pack. .The money from the auction will be donated be used to set up Lego Educational and Play areas for the Nelson Mandela Day Library Initiative.
