Don't you just hate it when your favourite group splits?
That's apparently what's happening with Uhuru. According to Sunday Sun, the successful house group, which is made up of Maphorisa, Mapiano, DJ Clap and Xeli, might be calling it quits.
The news comes after Maphorisa wasn't part of the group's performance at the Glo-Caf Awards in Nigeria. Uhuru's road manager was reportedly forced to act as his replacement on stage.
Sources told the paper that Maphorisa is currently not speaking to group member Xeli. "There's been a rift between them because Maphorisa thinks he's bigger than the group. Maphorisa is so busy with collaborations and producing with other African artists."
But Kalawa Jazmee artist manager, Arthur Scoth Mathenga, said there's no truth to these rumours. "Those are just rumours. Maphoris is part of the group and is not going anywhere. Gastor Serumela, Kalawa manager, told the paper that as far as she knows, Uhuru is still together and busy with their second album.
