Oliver Mtukudzi: "I felt betrayed"

Joburg - Oliver Mtukudzi has been left feeling "betrayed" after his publicist revealed details of his life in a tell-all book about the famous Zimbabwean musician.

The book, authored by Shepard Mutumba, talks of Oliver's alleged infidelity and his refusal to accept a child he had during an extramarital affair. It also details some of Oliver and Shepard's experiences on the road.

But, according to the Sowetan, Oliver says all the book has revealed is a bunch of "sensational lies" that was made to ruin his reputation.

"I felt betrayed by a man I had trusted so much and brought into my inner circle," Oliver said in a statement.

He has denied all of the accusations levelled against him in the book.
