Oscar Pistorius "cried himself to sleep" in jail

Oscar Pistorius reportedly cried himself to sleep on his first night in prison. Oscar, who is currently serving a five-year sentence at the Kgosi Mampuru II prison in Pretoria, was apparently closely monitored by nurses and guards in the hospital section of the prison.

A prison source told The Times, "You could hear him. Shortly after the door closed you could hear the tears. He was torn up. Broken. The crying went on and on. We think he stopped when he fell asleep. It was really bad."

Another source told the paper said the athlete was shocked when he arrived at the facility. "It gets everyone the first time, but he has the jitters bad. He's really tense and stressed. The fact that he can't do what he wants when he wants and eat what he wants is hitting him hard. It's clear his imprisonment has not hit home yet. He's under observation, with officials monitoring everything he does."
