PSL star in baby maintenance drama

Johannesburg - As a PSL footballer you can imagine Platinum Star's Solomon Mathe would be used to running. Running onto the pitch. Running after the ball. Running in celebration after scoring a goal....

But according to his baby mama, the only running Solomon is doing is from his papgeld responsibilities.

According to Sunday Sun, Solomon has told his baby mama, Agnes Tsholo, that he can no longer pay maintenance for his three year old daughter after his club let him go.

Speaking to the paper, Agnes says Solomon is supposed to pay R1800 of his R60000 salary towards maintenance, but he has told her he can no longer pay because he is now unemployed.

Agnes says he's talking nonsense and that he must #paytheMoney.

"I don't believe that and I won't take this lying down," she says. "He's this child's dad and should take care of her. He thinks he's clever, but the law will take care of him."

Platinum Stars have refused to comment on Solomon's status at the club, saying they will issue a statement on player's contracts soon.
