Pearl M apologises to AKA for 'baby name' question

Wait! What?

AKA took to Twitter to express his distaste over Pearl Modiadie's baby name question at the Metro FM Awards over the weekend.

Were you guys watching? We were and this sounds like a serious case of 'diva' tendencies?

Here's what happened:

During a post-award interview, Pearl excitedly asked AKA if he had decided on a baby name for his unborn child. This was followed by a bleak and simple, "nah."

Then Da Les had to jump in and save the day, by responding that the rapper will name his baby, "ShibabadooShibabu."

Shortly after the awards ceremony, AKA had this to say: "I also want to say that I think it was in bad taste and timing for Pearl to ask me what my child's name is in that post award interview. North God totally saved her with that ShibabadooShibabu ad lib."

Pearl has since apologised to the rapper on Twitter saying she didn't mean to offend him in any way. "No offense was intended @akaworldwide, sorry it came across that way to you.Congrats on your award and all the best going forward!!."

Glad that's cleared up but we're still sticking to our theory- DIVA!
