Pearl Modiadie on her failed relationship with Donald

Pearl Modiadie has opened up to Bona magazine about her relationship with Donald. The stars were reportedly an item for a while, but things simply didn't work out.

The Zaziwa presenter, who's one of Bona's January cover stars, told the mag: "Donald is an amazing, loving guy; and I'll always care and be supportive of him. I'm very proud of his success because I know the journey he traveled to get where he is now. It just didn't work between us."

It seems the couple tried really hard to hide their romance. In an interview with Sowetan a few years ago, Donald denied that he was dating Pearl. "Oh no, man! Those rumours about me and Pearl are totally false. Like I said to everyone before, we've been friends for over six years but now that were are well-known, people are starting to say such things."

They did a good job keeping their relationship private.
