Pearl Thusi meets her icon, Winnie Mandela

Pearl Thusi had to pinch herself to make sure she was really hugging Winnie Mandela for the first time. And, the actress could not stop reliving the moment.

Pearl put up a heartfelt message about how she felt when she met Ma Winnie. "I never could have imagined how we'd first meet. It happened last night and I'm still on a high. We were both so excited. Yah, both. Which made me lose my balance. (She loves Isidingo) I kinda feel base right now but it hasn't sunk in," she posted.

Pearl added that she was so grateful for the opportunity and compared Ma Winnie to a warrior and a rock.
