Just a few months ago, Pearl Thusi found herself embroiled in a 'racism scandal'.
It was alleged that the TV star made racist remarks to the family of the woman she was involved in a fender bender with.
However, shortly after the incident, Pearl went live on air to apologise for her actions. Now she has also addressed the allegations in Drum magazine.
"I was provoked and then became emotional. I take responsibility for that. I don't have a problem apologising when I'm wrong," she said.
However, Pearl added that she finds it problematic when tabloids make her out to be someone she's not. "Attack my cellulite or my hair, I can't deal with lies!"
Pearl was also setting the record straight over claims that she attacked a photographer after he caught her smoking dagga. "I've learnt not to give rumours too much of my attention. It's difficult, I won't lie," she added.
