Phila Madlingozi gets an Idols golden ticket

It seems Phila Madlingozi is following in his daddy's footsteps. Well, as far as singing is concerned.

The Intersexions actor reportedly auditioned for this year's Idols (SA) and scored himself a golden ticket.

It turns out Phila has always wanted to sing on the show. "Idols is the biggest platform to showcase musical talent and I’ve always wanted to be a part of it,” he told Drum. He also added: “I want to learn. I want to know more about my voice and growing it. I’m excited about how this opportunity will advance my singing career.”
