Police closing in on Senzo's killer

Johannesburg - Senzo Meyiwa's killer BEWARE! Your days are numbered!

Police confirmed "overwhelming evidence” is being gathered in the murder investigation of former Bafana Bafana and Orlando Pirates captain Senzo Meyiwa.

Senior Gauteng police officials told reporters on Thursday that they are busy investigating and getting overwhelming evidence.

"The only thing left is to link the suspect with the crime,” Gauteng deputy provincial commissioner for detective services Major General Vincent Leshabane told the media.

He added that the team investigating the murder was tirelessly travelling between Gauteng and KwaZulu-Natal every week, in order to collect additional evidence linking the suspect to the murder.
