President Zuma pays tribute to Muvhango's Vho-Mushasha

Johannesburg - President Jacob Zuman has joined the chorus of voices in honouring actor, Sammy Moeti.

Sammy, who played the role of Vho-Mushasha on Muvhango, passed away on Monday.

Calling Sammy one of the finest actors of his generation, President Zuma said: "It is indeed a sad period in our entertainment industry to lose someone of Mr Moeti's calibre, who was not only an accomplished and talented actor, but also a popular cultural activist."

The news of Sammy's death was met with shock and disbelief by the entertainment industry, with many paying their respects and offering condolences to his family (read more about that here).

Funeral arrangements for Sammy have yet to be released.
