Johannesburg- They are without a doubt one of the year's biggest breakthrough acts, but the twins from Major League have only just begun.
The Juice caught up with the band's Bandile to talk about their success and being Mzansi's New Age Kwaito...
The Juice: So, you gotta tell us, do people ever get you and your brother confused?
Bandile: Yeah! (Laughs) All the time! It's pretty funny sometimes.
In that case, we're glad we got your name right! 2015 has been great for you, what more can fans expect?
So far the year has gone very well. At the moment we are working on our album, which we are hoping to drop by October. It's called New Age Kwaito. So, people should definitely look out for that - it's going to be crazy!
Of course! We hear you've even started your own production company?
Yeah! Me and my brother started a production company called New Age Productions. We're reaching out to corporates mostly, but we'll start to do festivals soon. We are just building up our sound and resources, so that we can provide more for our clients. it's going very well.
Slyza Tsotsi has become a huge hit in Mzansi! Did you ever imagine it being this big?
Yeah, it's become a massive hit for us. But we always knew it would be popular in eKasi and even overseas. But what's really surprised us is the love it's getting from the northern suburbs.
