Johannesburg - Reason has finally dropped his highly anticipated freestyle, Rezus Christ is Cummin.
The freestyle has come under heavy criticism after Reason released it's artwork earlier this week. The artwork depicted Jesus sporting a pair of shades and with two naked woman over his shoulder (Read more about the cover's early criticisms HERE)
The social media storm that followed saw Reason take to every possible medium to explain himself and his project.
"The whole image is a metaphor of myself," he explains. "No, it's not how I see Jesus Christ. It's not how I see Christianity. It's how I see myself. I see myself as a child of God, but the world I live in has thrown so many evils at me, like woman. But all those things make me a tainted version of what I think Jesus Christ is," Reason told YFM's DJ Ankletap in an interview (To hear what more he said, click HERE).
At the time, Reason pleaded with fans to not judge him before listening to his freestyle. Well, the freestyle has just dropped and it's everything Reason warned us about.
Reason opens his heart on the track and calls on fans to see the real him.
Now all of a sudden that cover makes sense...
