Reason is NOT competing with local rappers

Reason is launching his new album Audio High Definition today (Friday)!

The album features artists like LCNVL, HHP, Thandiswa Mazwai and Bonang Matheba. While there's been a lot of debate about who SA's biggest rapper is, Reason doesn't seem to really care. Instead, the rapper has set the bar much higher for himself.

He said: "I am competing with major international stars – Drake – Kendrck Lamar – I see myself in a lane of my own – not comparable with the likes of Schoolboy Q, AKA, K.O. or Cassper Nyovest."

We guess that sort of gives everyone a view on how Reason feels about being rated as the 6th best MC on MTV Base's list of the Hottest MCs in the country.
