Johannesburg - Radio host Criselda Kananda's wedding seemed like the perfect fairytale. But new reports point to a magazine deal then went sour at the last minute, leaving Criselda to apparently almost cancel her special day.
Sunday World is reporting that Criselda has struck a deal with a well-known magazine, where in exchange for the exclusive coverage of the big day, the magazine would sponsor her wedding.
However, after the editor of the magazine resigned and a new editor took over, the deal was cancelled.
The newspaper claims that this left Criselda in a poor situation, where there were suddenly costs that were unaccounted for. And not just that, it was reported that she was also fired from her position as a columnist when the new editor took over.
While the magazine is not named in the article, Criselda used to be a columnist at Drum magazine and yesterday she confirmed in a tweet that it was that magazine.
Been asking myself the same damn question! Why? https://t.co/u0gxyxiJ8D
