Johannesburg- TV and radio personality Lerato Kganyago has apparently been left heartbroken after the loss of her unborn baby three weeks ago.

According to Sunday World Lerato K was two months pregnant at the time.

Lerato confirmed the sad news to the paper but declined to comment, saying that it was too painful to talk about.

"It's a sensitive matter and I'm still not ready to talk about it. Can you guys please give me the opportunity to deal with this on my own as privately as I can?," Lerato said.

A family member told the paper that Lerato and her boyfriend, were ecstatic about becoming parents.

Lerato's relative added that she was rushed to hospital, after experiencing cramps and collapsing at home.

"She was rushed to a local hospital after she bled profusely. She was shattered when doctors told her she had lost the child," the relative added.

At the time Lerato took to Instagram where she shared a snap of herself in hospital with the caption, "Life is strange." (Read that story here)
