Johannesburg- Former Generations actor and radio DJ Mandla Hlatshwayo has reportedly landed in hot water with the police.
Sunday Sun is reporting that the popular radio personality was allegedly nabbed by cops for speeding and for apparently driving under the influence of alcohol.
According to the paper Mandla was caught driving 180 km/h in a 120 km/h zone.
"When cops stopped him, Mandla couldn't speak properly and couldn't stand still. He allegedly wanted to bribe the cops, but they refused. He threw tantrums," a source told the paper.
Mandla declined to comment on the matter, while JMPD spokesman Wayne Minnaar would only confirm that a blitz operation last weekend did see 11 motorists being arrested for speeding as well as drinking and driving.
