Reports: Senzo cop pulls out after police refuse to arrest Kelly K

Johannesburg - A top cop in the Senzo Meyiwa murder case has reportedly resigned after her recommendations were rejected by the case's committee.

According to Sunday World, Captain Joyce Buthelezi made the suggestion that police arrest and charge everyone in the house on the night of the murder with perjury and defeating the ends of justice.

Captain Joyce allegedly feels that those in the house, including Kelly Khumalo and her sister Zandi and Chicco Twala's son Longwe, lied to police about the events on the night of the murder.

She apparently received death threats after making the recommendation, and withdrew herself from the investigation after her superiors shot it down.

National police spokesperson Lieutenant general Solomon Makgale confirmed that Captain Joyce has left the team, but says no one received death threats.
