Rhythm City's 'Mamokete' facing intimidation charge

Rhythm City actress Connie Chiume is in trouble with the law!

According to Sunday Sun, her ex husband, Jerry Mabuza has opened a case of intimidation against her at the Joburg Central Police Station. The case was confirmed by a provincial duty officer and police are reportedly investigating.

A source told the paper: "Connie phoned Jerry to tell him their child needs to get better accommodation as she can't stay at the cheap school residence. But Jerry is no longer paying fees and accommodation for their 19-year-old daughter. Connie told Jerry she'll come to Protea South, in Soweto, to burn him in the house if he doesn't pay." Another source added that Connie, who plays Momokete in the soapie, told her ex that she'll turn him into braai meat. Then he collapsed and got admitted to hospital.

Jerry opened a case shortly after he was discharged. He apparently told the police that he's scared after what Connie told him. "Jerry is always shaking when he sees Connie on TV. He's troubled by what happened to hi, eish it's bad," the source said. Connie told Sunday Sun that she has nothing to say about the claims, while Jerry said: "My brother, I am not well. I can't talk right now."
