Sam Cowen bids farewell to 94.7

Radio, TV personality and acclaimed author Samantha Cowen bid a teary farewell to the 94.7 Breakfast Xpress team this morning.

After almost a decade with the radio station, Samantha will be moving to Highveld's sister station Talk Radio 702 in January 2015. Sam will be taking over the reins from Jenny Crwys Williams, every weekday afternoon.

"This is an exciting opportunity and one that I welcome," said Sam. "I will miss 94.7 but have always been a big fan of Jenny’s and of the show and I look forward to joining the conversation on 702," she added.
