Sam Meyiwa: "Kelly is not a fit mother"

Senzo Meyiwa's father, Sam, believes that Kelly Khumalo is an unfit mother.

According to Sunday Sun, Sam wants Kelly's daughter Thingo to stay with his family. He told the paper that he's disgusted that Kelly refused to let the baby attend Senzo's funeral.

"Although we had our own differences, she could at least have asked someone to bring my granddaughter to the funeral.I had changed my mind about her being allowed to attend, but she chose to stay away. She could have allowed Aphelele to be here."

He added: "Aphelele should come and stay with us. Kelly is not a fit mother." Sam believes that his granddaughter should know where her father is buried. He told Sunday Sun that Kelly's daughter deserved to be part of the proceedings, according to their culture. He said: "Kelly has taken this drama too far and I'll make sure she hands over our granddaughter so that we can raise her, as she is a Meyiwa, not a Khumalo."

Sam rubbished claims that there was a fight during the reading of Senzo's will. Sunday Sun added that Kelly said she has had enough and is mourning Senzo in her own way.
