Johannesburg - We knew Mi Casa were popular but, damn, we didn't know they were triple platinum popular!
While some artists in the country are still hustling to go gold, and others are making big noise about going gold in one day, House band, Mi Casa are on their way to a triple platinum plaque.
The band's management confirmed to The Juice that they are almost at the mark for the achievement, having sold over 95 000 copies of their debut album, Su Casa.
"We made a big announcement when we went gold and platinum and we will definitely make a big deal of it when we go triple platinum," the band's management says.
"But the secret to our success is that we keep our feet on the ground and don't get carried away," they added.
And that's not the only good news coming from the band.
The band have confirmed that they are currently working on a new album and have also launched their own management company, 34 Music.
"34 Music is a management company for the band. A company to manage their music, events, brand ambitions and publishing rights. Kind of like a record company but only for Mi Casa," the band's management told The Juice.
