Shado Twala: "I am grateful to God for my children and family"

With a career spanning more than 2 decades, Shado Twala has earned her right to be called a legend. The SA's Got Talent judge spoke to Move! about her family, love and shared her feelings on the new judges on the show.

"I am grateful to God for my children and family. I would not have been able to navigate through life without them. There was a time I wanted to give up in life but they were there for me," she said.

The single mother of two also admitted that she is not a relationship person. "I cannot remember the last time I had a relationship. I don't think I was cut out for it. I was not wired for a relationship."

Although she's not "wired for a relationship", there's no doubt that she's got other areas of expertise - like discovering new local talent. This season she'll be joined by DJ Fresh and Lalla Hirayama on SA's Got Talent.

"Maybe it's a good thing to work with new people who will bring new energy to the show. I do not know the judges personally, I've listened to DJ Fresh on radio. He is a huge guy but maybe is a softie. Lalla surprises me. She's a beautiful girl but behind all that beauty is a wealth of brains," Shado told Move!
