Shame! Candice Swanepoel fell on the NYFW runway

Johannesburg - It must be every model's nightmare: falling on the runway.

And if there was one show you didn't want this to happen at during New York Fashion Week, it was the Givenchy show.

Everybody from Kim Kardashian, Kanye West, Nicki Minaj, Steve Tyler and Courtney Love had front row seats at the event.

Our local gal, Candice Swanepoel, looked glam in her black lace outfit. But her composure didn't last long, after she took a nasty fall on the ramp.

Audience members raced to help her, and like a true professional, Candice got up, smiled, and carried on walking.
