Shona Ferguson, Nomzamo and Sdumo join MAQ judging panel

Shona Ferguson, Nomzamo Mbatha, director Darrell Roodt and Sdumo Mtshali have been announced as official judges for MAQaMovie.

The idea is genius: MAQ goes around the country looking for the best amateur actors to star in a film to be shot and released by the end of the year - so none of this "that actor is always in all the movies we watch" nonsense.

Auditions for one of five spots on the film have already started across the country, but contestants who are chosen at these auditions are put through another round where they will be judged by the experienced quartet ahead of the finals in Johannesburg.
