The annual Peace Starts campaign aims to raise awareness about world peace. Each year, celebrity ambassadors help spread the message and the campaign culminates into a cross-cultural music concert.
The concert aims to bring people from diverse backgrounds together. This year rappers Silkour and JR have joined as ambassadors.
They opened up to the Citizen about realising that more needs to be done in the hip-hop industry to promote peace. They also acknowledged that as rappers, they needed to provide leadership through their work.
