Simba's dad, Joseph Mhere: "Simba was a blessing to everyone"

Loosing a child must no doubt be the hardest thing for any parent.

Simba's dad, Joseph Mhere expressed pride over the man he had become.

"I would like to take the credit for bringing Simba, here to SA but Simba brought us here because he wanted to spread his wings. He has brought together nations," Joseph said.

Joseph explained that he would often be tasked with Simba's airport duties but last Saturday his son left without saying goodbye to him."Every time he travelled for work, he would say 'goodbye dad see you in a week's time'. This time Simba never got the chance to say goodbye," added an emotional Joseph.

"I have loved every moment with my son, since he was a little boy. We will miss Simba everyday but we have prayed for grace, so that we can accept God's decision," he added.
