Simphiwe Dana named as Amnesty international Ambassador

Joburg- We all know Simphiwe Dana cares about Africa, but it seems all that advocating for our continent has got the popular musician a role as an ambassador.

Simphiwe was announced as an official ambassador for Amnesty International's #AfricaNot4Sale campaign.

"I am really proud to be Amnesty International's ambassador for the #AfricaNot4Sale campaign. Watch this space for more information on Amnesty International's movement of defending those who are denied justice or freedom,"the Firebrand singer posted on Instagram.

"As the @amnestyonline ambassador Im proud to be a part of a movement defending those who are denied justice or freedom," she later added on Twitter.

Congrats on your new role, Simphiwe! Africa is a safer place now that you are defending it.
