Johannesburg - The pain of having to bury her child is one of the hardest things singer Candy Mokwena has ever had to endure, even four years later.

The tsa Mandebele singer took to Instagram this week, on the four year anniversary of her son's death, to post a picture of her granddaughter who was only 5 months at the time of her father's death.

"2nd of August 2011, she was only 5 months old when her father passed on, she is now 4 years, she is very close to my ?? #koko loves you so much ??????????, Candy wrote.

Candy's son, Lesley was killed in a car crash in 2011 and she has spoken before of her heartbreak at losing her child and how it was the support from God, friends and family that helped her through the ordeal.

Fans were quick to offer their support to the singer, telling her that her son had left her a little piece of himself to remember him by.
