Somizi's hilarious advice to the 'lovers of things'

Well, it looks like someone is excited for the Durban July this weekend!

Our favourite local choreographer and personality, Somizi, has been sticking up notes and jokes about the Durban horse racing spectacle, making fun of the pretenders and the "celebrity liker of things".

It all started when Somizi decided to jump on the confession Kermit meme trend posting a pic of Kermit sipping tea while saying " Got your Durban July outfit ready. No flights, No accommodation... but that's none of my business!"

And as if that dig, at those who were pretending to be richer or more famous than they actual are, wasn't bad enough - Somizi stuck up a letter to them, advising them to stay at home instead of maxing the credit card and lending the rent money to keep up appearances.

And it got even more hilarious when a few minutes later he stuck up an open letter to the "celebrity liker of things" where he relates to them having to pay their way at the Durban July instead of staying home to save for auditions

The thing about the letter is that, just like a good joke,  nearly all of us can think of a person the letters could apply to.
