Team AKA: "We are not getting involved in publicity stunts"

AKA's team has decided not to entertain the alleged gun incident.

The incident happened on Friday after Cassper Nyovest, who was due to perform on Live Amp on Friday , claimed that he left before he went on air as a gun was pulled on him. He said this was done by one of AKA's friends, Prince Nyembe. Cassper has even laid a charge with the police.

Fans have been waiting eagerly for AKA to say something. Instead of explaining what happened, AKA decided not to say anything to his fans. He tweeted: "Thought about it. Since I didn’t do anything I actually don’t owe anybody an explanation. No statements from me, just hit records.”

But now his management Vth Season has made a comment on his behalf. Vth Season said: “AKA is in this for the music and fans. We are not getting involved in publicity stunts. Our team doesn't believe in violence nor publicity and attention stunts. No time for distractions from the music.”

We asked Cassper's publicist Farah Fortune if there are any developments on the story and she said: "Due to recent developments we cannot make any statements at this point."
