Yup, it's official.
The rumour mill has been working overtime this week but its FINALLY been confirmed that Thando Thabethe will make her debut on the soapie soon.
She'll be playing the character of Nolwazi, an educated young girl, who is warm yet feisty if provoked. Even though Nolwazi, was born and raised in the township, she doesn't let her circumstances define her.
It's obvs a big step for Thando and she couldn't be happier. "I'm really excited to be joining the biggest soapie in the country, especially as it starts its new journey as Generations: The Legacy," she said.
Adding, "I've already been privileged enough to star alongside the talent that is Manaka Ranaka and I'm so thrilled with the reception both the cast and crew have given me so far. I am an actress through and through and cannot wait to show South Africa what I'm capable of. I even had to cut my hair for this role. I literally sobbed but that is how invested I am in depicting Nolwazi."
We can't wait!
