There's nothing for mahala! You can ask the hosts of SABC1's The After Party who walked out for allegedly working without getting paid.
According to the Sunday Sun, one of the presenters Sthembiso Legodi said he's tired of being exploited. He said he and other presenters of the show have never been paid and blames the show's producer for this.
"In 2011 we signed contracts under the impression that we would start getting paid after two months. Brandon [the producer] told us that he was waiting for a Malaysian investor who was going to inject $20 million into the project. But six months went by without a word, much later he said the show was bankrupt," he told the paper.
His co-presenter Melany Mackay added that Brandon took advantage of so many people. "He'll get what's coming to him," she said.
