Johannesburg - Being a journalist definitely has its perks. Like when we were invited by M-Net to take part in a Power Couple SA experience.
What does this mean? Well, we went in not knowing either.
Power Couple is a new reality show that revolves around 8 couples doing various challenges. But these aren't your ordinary tasks. They're rather... odd. And funny. As we soon got to learn.
A group of journalists were flown to Cape Town with partners (whoop) and got given two challenges.
In the first challenge, your partner was given headphones and music played through them. The partner couldn't hear the music. The person wearing the headphones had to mime a song and your partner had to guess the songs. It was hilarious. Trust.
Second up involved a human claw. One person was strapped to a huge contraption (think human teddy bear) while the other person got to control you. You were lowered and had to find a specific teddy. Remember, you are actuals upside down at this point and have blood rushing to your head, all the while worrying if you look thin. #Girls.
The show airs on Thursdays, Channel 101, 19:30.
Seriously. It's going to be a blast!
