Oscar Pistorius returns to the dock today after a 30 day mental evaluation. It has been found that the paralympian was of a sound mind when he shot his model girlfriend, Reeva Steenkamp on Valentines day last year.
Presenting the doctors report to the court this morning, Prosecutor Gerrie Nel said that the panel of doctors found that at the time of the offence, there was no mental defect affecting Oscar's ability to determine right and wrong and that the prosecution accepted the findings of the panel.
Defence lawyer, Barry Roux responded by telling the court his team had received the report over the weekend and wanted to study it and possibly consult.
